| I had just started my shift at work. I walked over to Lane 14, where there was a line of waiting customers, to pull some customers into my lane.
"Excuse me sir," I asked the customer next in line. "I'm opening at Lane 12. Would you like to come over there?"
The man nodded and I turned to walk towards my lane.
As he pulled his cart out of the line, he called out to me, "Where is 12?"
I stopped dead in my tracks and stared at him. And with great control, I replied, "After 11 and before 13. Where it usually is."
NUMBERS, MOTHERFUCKER. DO YOU KNOW THEM?
(And yes, it truly was a shitty day at work.)

| So I was all excited to watch the new season of Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. I stayed up, waited all of eight minutes for it to finish downloading and said to myself, "Killer lollies, GO!" So what did I get instead? "HAY GUYS, IT'S KEIICHI'S PENIS, HAUUUU~!" ( My fanservice senses are tingling. No wait, they're BURNING. )I'd better start seeing buckets of blood and loads of dismemberment for putting up with these horrible fanservice shenanigans! | |

| I am not looking forward to March AT ALL. D: Two major papers due (double-weighted! D:), two midterms, and an in-class exam. How am I going to get my warlock a new set of boots? I die a little inside when I see she's wearing tailoring blues. :( I just adore it when people from the old anime collective community look me up. It totally makes my day. I got an email from the owner of my Nanami shrine's sister site and I'm pleased that my first sister site is actually still around, albeit at another domain. And updates happening, too! It makes me feel a bit better about still wanting to make sites. Now, if only I could add another ten hours to each day. ( Calling all cat owners on my friends list... )And for no reason at all, here is my warlock on the ugmo!Albino Drake: (Actually. I'm rather fond of him now. Even if he is ugmo. D:) | |

| I'm taking a break from my Classics studying. Like a part-time mistress, I seem to have a craving to fool around with LJ for a few weeks, and then not post for months on end.
I just found out today that my hosting company started some retroactive reward points program. So I log into my control panel to check, and I see thousands of points (5120 points, to be exact)! Well, I have been hosted there for six or seven years. I sent in my request to use my points for hosting costs, so now I'm all happy because I get free hosting for a few months. My thrifty asian genes are cartwheeling in delight!
I'm really wishing that my exams would be over already so I can breathe and relax. I haven't visited my Animal Crossing town in a week, and I'm missing out on heroic runs and 10 man Naxx. Chrono Trigger for the DS is out! Just three more days! :(
My apartment smells like roasted chicken and potatoes, and I have a nice garlic butter ready. Out in the hallway, I hear my across-the-hall neighbour remark to someone, "Damn, something smells so good!".
My cat is sleeping in a pile of dryer-fresh clothes, kneading his paws on my plaid pajama bottoms and scenting his fur with "rain-forest fresh" fabric softener sheets.
It's time for me to resume studying. The Roman Republic awaits.

| No matter how busy you get, every so often, this planet will remind you how beautiful it is. I was folding laundry at the time, when my eye caught the molten gold of the sunset. It was only a for a few minutes, but I felt like I was the only person on earth. | |

| Scene: Dean and Rose are in the car. They pass by a small strip mall, where a Subway restaurant and an adult video/toy store are side by side. Rose: Wow, a Subway next to a porn store. Rose: So... I guess you could buy a foot long to eat... and then buy a foot long to... eat. Dean: And then rent a movie with people eating other foot longs. Rose: Wow. Dean: Boggles the mind, doesn't it. And now, the best rainbow, I've ever seen! :) | |

| Since moving into our new apartment, I have been hideously busy with work and life in general. And now that school has started (yes -- I'm back in school), what little spare time I had has completely evaporated. I would write a proper entry, but I have to go to bed because I need to be up at 7 am. Hoorah! Instead, here's a picture: P.S. I TOTALLY FORGOT I PRE-ORDERED SPORE WTF. WHEN AM I GOING TO FIND TIME TO PLAY THAT. D:!! | |

| Scene: Dean and Rose are leaving the U-Haul Rental Centre, after renting a truck for the big move.
Dean: So anyway, we have to pick up the truck at...
*conversation stops as they pass by a large bin with a sign that reads "FREE BOXES -- TAKE A BOX, LEAVE A BOX"*
Rose: ZOMG FREE BOXES!
*Rose runs over and begins to paw at the boxes, pulling out a few*
Dean: Uhh. I don't think you're supposed to take that many... Rose: Why the hell not? It says "FREE BOXES"! Music to my ears. Dean: But we have lots of boxes at home. Rose: You can never have enough boxes when you move! Dean: But it says "take a box, leave a box". Rose: Honey, if I take a box and leave a box, that means I'm not actually taking anything. Dean: ... No, that's not what I meant. -_-;; Dean: I mean I think you're only supposed to take a couple, it's like common courtesy. Rose: I am being courteous. I'm recycling boxes as intended.
*Rose takes all the boxes in the bin, and heads towards the car*
Dean: You know, you actually have to return any unused boxes to fulfill the "take a box, leave a box" policy. Are you actually going to return them? Rose: Well, of course I am! >:o! Dean: Are you really? >_>;; Rose: Well... no. Probably not. Dean: ... -_-;;;
Two days more till the big move! As expected, I haven't finished packing AT ALL. I fully blame FFIV. Every time I sit down to take a break, I think, oh, I can play a little bit. I can just do a dungeon or something, and then I'll stop and go back to packing. AND THEN I SPEND AN HOUR PAINTING A FACE ON RYDIA'S EIDOLON WTF. =__=;;
Okay, dinner break's over. Time to get back to packing. :o!
